Hotel Jan Brito is a 16th century listed building, now a luxury hotel with every comfort. This impressive mansion has been tastefully refurbished, conserving unique decorations from former centuries: marble mantelpieces, paintings, oak staircase, and exposed oak beams.

We are peacefully situated in the heart of Bruges, 20 mtrs from the most romantic and picturesque canals, 200 mtrs from the Burg square (City Hall) and the Market square (Belfry).

Rooms

The hotel has 23 ensuite rooms with hairdryer, telephone, television with english language programmes and a minibar.

Breakfast:- Enjoy your breakfast with soft classical music in this magnificent chandelier room . A buffet breakfast is served between 8 and 10.30.

Other facilities:-  lift, bar, lounge, meeting room, large garden with 100 year old beech tree, and parking.

Duchess Room (Garden Suite)

Not just a hotel room but an experience! Four unique duplex rooms in a separate building in the garden (the former horse-stable, tea house, coach house and house chapel) with separate bedroom and sitting room, bathroom with shower and duo bath with jacuzzi.

Marquis Room (Junior suite)

The largest rooms of the main building, full of unique decorations of former centuries, once used by the last occupant, Baroness de Giey herself.

This room is available as a single, double or triple room.

Baroness Room (Luxury Room)

Large romantic room with 18th century style decoration or under the 16th century oak beams.

Knight Room (Standard Room)

Cosy room under the 16th century oak beams. Available as a single, double, twin, triple or quadruple room.

Meeting room (up to 20 persons)

 The meeting room has a view of the garden can be used as a reading room when no meetings are being held.

Go easily to the different floors by elevator or do it in the old fashion and take the 17th century oak staircase.

Everywhere in the hotel you will be reminded of the glorious past, like in the former kitchen (now lounge) with its valuable 16th century black marble mantelpiece and religious 19th century painting.

New Parking Regulation in Bruges

New parking regulation is introduced in the inner city of Bruges.

Unless differently indicated, the entire inner city is considered « blue zone ». During the day you are allowed to park up to 4 hours (use the new European parking disk). During the evening and at night (between 19h and 9h) and on Sundays during the entire day, you are allowed to park there without time limitation.
There are also a few “paid parking” areas. You can park there during 2 hours (buy a ticket at the ticketing machine and show it clearly on your dash board).
For “long term parking”, make a reservation on our private parking or park in one of the underground parkings in the city (reduced tariff if reserved in advance at your hotel’s reception) or at one of the parkings surrounding the city. Next to the railway station there is also a big parking from which you have a frequent and easy bus connection to the inner city (the ticket of this parking allows you to travel free of charge on this bus).

Package "Baroness de Giey":- The package consists of three nights with buffet breakfast, two diners in a restaurant close to the hotel: a regional three course menu and a four course menu, choice between:

2: parking.
Further a boat trip on the canals, a city trip by minibus, a reduction card for 10 museums/curiosities and a brochure with city map. Prices per PERSON in double room, valid till 16.03.2006 (Prices from 16.03.2006 till 15.03.2007)
